2011-10-19 Meeting Recap

Written by , October 19, 2011 in Meetings

Our biggest meeting ever! Thanks to all who attended our TIME OC meeting.

The meetings are broken up into five parts, including NetworkTIMEOC (where everyone gets to talk to each other and network amongst themselves), IntroTIMEOC (where we start the meeting at 6 PM and everyone introduces themselves to the group), TalkTIMEOC (where we have questions with lively discussion about technology), FreeTIMEOC (where we share a free tip for the group), and IdeaTIMEOC (where we talk about past ideas and current new ideas for the group).

IntroTIMEOC got us off to a great start as we all go to know each other better and what we want from the group.

TalkTIMEOC then got started with some new faces that gave a fresh look at our topics.  We had several different groups represented, including Microsoft AND Mac developers.   We also had a variety of other industries including public relations, technical writing, and even Anil from OC Hackers stopped by to contribute to the discussion.

In FreeTIMEOC, we rolled out the tip about Microsoft Excel’s Solver. It is one of the more powerful features of the program and a good tool to keep in mind when solving complicated problems.

Lastly, IdeaTIMEOC is really going now with some real suggestions ready to start the process.  We wish all of the idea creators good luck!

Thanks again to everyone that attended and be sure to invite your friends and RSVP to the next meeting!
